viaSport British Columbia is a not-for-profit organization established in 2011, responsible for providing strategic leadership to sport in BC and increasing levels of physical activity at every stage of life, in every community.

A legacy organization of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, viaSport is leading a unified approach to delivering sport across the province.

viaSport supports Canoe Kayak BC increase paddling participation and improve sport delivery across the province.

Since 1978, the BC Games Society has been staging the BC Summer and BC Winter Games. These two events are British Columbia’s largest multi-sport events.

Canoe Kayak BC is a participant in the BC Summer Games providing young paddlers with the opportunity to participate in a multi-sport event and expand their competitve experience.
