Aboriginal Initiative

CKBC is engaged in a partnership with CanoeKayak Canada to support aboriginal paddling initiatives such as training camps, talent identification, competitions, and club development.

2011 Initiatives

• Teams are preparing for the 2012 NAIG (North American Indigenous Games).  If you would like to be included contact our office
• CanoeKayak BC will be travelling to Burns Lake for a week of CanoeKids Camp in July 2011. 
•  Provincial Aboriginal Canoe Championships are at Seabird Island in Agassiz July 23rd and 24th.
• Give it a Go Day at Chehalis on July 20th
• Give it a Go Day at Seabird Island on August 17th
• Communities interested in a day or week camp are invited to contact our office.
