CKBC is engaged in a partnership with CanoeKayak Canada to support aboriginal paddling initiatives such as training camps, talent identification, competitions, and club development.

  • Teams are preparing for the 2011 NAIG (North American Indigenous Games).  If you would like to be included contact our Aboriginal Initiatives Coordinator - Ashley Rowe at 250-756-5200
  • In partnership with Softball BC, CanoeKayak BC recently traveled to Burns Lake and participated in their Aboriginal Days Celebrations, delivered a CanoeKids (Community Coaching NCCP) course and welcomed the community to an Open Paddling Day and BBQ.  We will be returning in August 2010 to follow up with their new coaches.
  • Interested communities are invited to contact our office.
