2011 Western Canada Summer Games Team
Coaching Staff

Peter Majewski - This year’s Western Canada Games will be the first multisport event Peter Majewski will attend, although he has been coaching in Canada for almost 20 years.
Peter is serious about all aspects of his athlete’s life, from training to more training. He has been known to prescribe the occasional potato milkshake when he feels his athletes need to "bulk up” and he often supplements practices with cultural and language lessons in French and Polish, ensuring that none of his athletes will suffer from the sun because they forgot their chapeau.
Before coming to Canada, Peter paddled canoe for 16 years, and was a member of the Polish National Team for half of that time. He has two sons and the newest addition to his family is his adopted 6 year old gordon setter, Parker. Although he told us that his favorite food is broccoli, he has been known to willing accept fresh baked batches of cookies at practice to stay on his good side.
Peter is a certified NCCP Level 3 coach who is looking forward to seeing athletes from different disciplines competing for their province at the games, as well as winning the coaches’ race in Kamloops!
