Burnaby - After a year of unknown, waiting, and delays, BC Sprint Kayak Athlete Brian Malfesi (Ridge Canoe & Kayak) is set to take on the world in Tokyo in the Olympic Games. Canoe and Kayak Sprint racing takes place August 2-7, 2021. The 27 year-old Malfesi will be competing in the Men’s K2 (Kayak)1000M races beginning August 3rd.

Heats and Quarterfinals of the Men’s K2 1000M begin at 500pm PST on August 3rd, with Semi Finals and Finals beginning at 530pm August 4th.
